  9. New Poems: Time to Rise/ Shoes (Study) (Study all poems)
  10. A One Day grace period will be given for all home-work or class work not completed.
  11. We have started learning special sounds from charts 6 – 8, please study the charts.
  12. 2 vowel words: When there is two vowel in a word the 1st vowel says its name and the 2nd vowel is silent. (do not sound it out)
  13. During our Bible time they are learning about: Lazarus. The rich young ruler, Zacchaeus.
  14. Science: The 5 senses, living and non-living things, Gravity, The weather, Seasons
  15. Math: Formation 0-59 counting from 1-49 forward and backwards, Clocks ½ past. Addition: 0,1,2,3, 4, 5, 6,7, 8, 9, 10, counting by 5’s -100 counting by 10’s to 100, counting adding pennies, and nickels. Introduce Dimes, quarters.
  16. Next week we will be doing subtraction,
  17. Art: Painting cutting, clocks, making wreaths, staying in the line, coloring in one direction. CREATIVE PAINTING
  18. Testing begins regularly on THURSDAY, FRIDAYS: MATH, PHONICS, LANGUAGE, HANDWRITING, READING, READING SENTENCES AND WORDS, MARKING VOWELS, SPECIAL SOUNDS, SPELLING, CONSONANT BLENDS, SIGHT WORDS and BIBLE. (Please STUDY)

  11. Math: Formation 0-69 counting from 1-59 forward and backwards, Clocks ½ past, 15 min past, Addition: 0,1,2,3, 4, 5, 6,7, 8, 9,  counting by 5’s -100 counting by 10’s to 100, adding pennies, and nickels. Introduce Dimes. Introduce subtraction.
  12. Art: March and April Art projects.

  1.  2 packs of 64 Crayola Crayons.
  2. 2 boxes for pencils and crayons
  3. 2 pks. #2 Ticonderoga pencils
  4. 10 plastic folders placed in a 3 ring binder, please label 1 – Home Work/ Information 2- completed Work folder 3- progress report and report card folder, 4- Spanish/ Bible 5- Science/ Health, 6- Art 7- Reading 8- Drama/ Praise and Worship
  5. No markers, pencil sharpeners, or colored pencils.
  6. 1 blunt edged scissor
  7. 2 packs of Clorox wipes
  8. 2 packs of baby wipes
  9. 1 pack of paper towels
  10. 4 packs of tissues for noses
  11. 1 pack of plates
  12. 3 pack of forks/spoons
  13. 3 hand sanitizers
  14. 3 hand soaps
  15. 1 Plastic container ( labeled) (1st Draw) 2 Coloring books 2nd draw- Folders, 3rd draw Toys.
  16. Girls can bring in tea sets, 2 coloring books, ponies, play dough
  17. Boys can bring in play dough, blocks, car set, 2 coloring books.
  18. 1 smock, 1 pack of Crayola washable paint, and 8 large to small paint brushes and a pack of painting paper.
  19. 2 black and white composition books labeled, Phonics,/ Spanish, Science / Health.
  20. 2 Packs of Multi- colored index cards
  21. All toys must fit in their draw and taken home Friday to be washed.
  22. 2 bottles of Alcohol
  23. 1 small pillow ( must be placed inside the desk on on a hook)
  24. 4 Erasable markers
