Kindergarten 5 year olds 

Monday – Friday:   Home Work needs to be done every night

Every night each child needs to practice their name

K 5 HOME WORK CORNER

Monday September 28th  ( Test on Friday)

  1. Name Sheet( Please put in their Home work folder)
  2. Trace and write the letter i, u, e
  3. Practice the name and sound of the alphabet (not in order)
  4. Read and Study Poem (The Little Turtle) ( Test on Friday)

Tuesday September 29th

  1. Name Sheet ( Please put in their Home work folder)
  2. Trace and write 1- 3 and the number word three.
  3. Color pictures yellow, count the pictures and color the correct numbers.
  4. Study Bible verse I, U ( If you shall ask anything in my name he will do it John 14:14. (Test on Friday)

Wednesday September 30th ( Grandparents Day) the kids will come dressed as Grandparents, bring in snacks for grandparents)

  1. Name Sheet ( Please put in their Home work folder)
  2. Practice the name and sound of the alphabet (not in order) ( Test on Friday)
  3. Trace and write the letter Ii, Uu
  4. Study Poem “ The Turtle”

Thursday October 1st

  1. Name Sheet ( Please put in Home work folder)
  2. Trace and write the number 2, 3/ trace the lines
  3. Color the picture red, blue
  4. Trace and color the circles : red, blue
  5. Study Bible verse I, (If you shall ask anything in my name he will do it John 14:14.)

Friday October 2nd ( Test on Friday)  Bible verse, Poem, identifying number 1-3 and vowels I,U, E

  1. Study bible and Poem
  2. Name Sheet (Two sheets need to be returned in the Home work folder)

THINGS TO REMEMBER:  

  1. All home work must be signed and dated by an adult.
  2. Any ripped home work will not be corrected.
  3. All home work with food stains will not be corrected.
  4. A one-day grace period will be given for all home work or class work not completed.
  5. We are learning left and right, same and different
  6. We are writing, spelling and saying our color, shapes and number words.
  7. We Started Character Development: Being Polite, School Rules, bathroom rules, hallway rules, playground rules, class rules
  8. We are learning school habits
  9. During our bible time they are learning about Creation and bible John 14:14. (Study)
  10. Please practice the sound of the vowel I in Spanish
  11. Math- Write numbers 0, 1, 2, 3  say and Spell the words , Zero, one, two, three, and Circle square, triangle
  12. Handwriting: The letter Ii, Uu, Ee, The Color word Red, blue yellow, Shape: Circle, square, triangle, number words: zero, one, two. three
  13. Each child will need their cubby boxes, Noise Cancellation Head set and a small pillow.

  1. 2 packs of 64 Crayola Crayons. ( Initial them please)
  2. 2 pks. #2 Ticonderoga pencils (Initial them please)
  3. 10 plastic folders placed in a 3 ring binder, please label 1 – Home Work/ Information 2- completed Work folder 3- progress report and report card folder, 4- Spanish/ Bible, 5- Art, 6 Reading, 7- Drama/ Praise and Worship
  4. No markers, pencil sharpeners, or colored pencils.
  5. PLEASE PLACE THIER NAMES ON ALL PERSONAL CLASSROOM ITEMS
  6. 1 blunt edged scissor
  7. 2 packs of Clorox wipes
  8. 2 packs of baby wipes
  9. 1 pack of paper towels
  10. 4 packs of tissues for noses
  11. 1 pack of Sturdy paper plates
  12. 3 pack of forks/spoons
  13. 3 hand sanitizers
  14. 3 hand soaps
  15. 1 Plastic container ( labeled) (1st Draw) 2 Coloring books 2nd draw- Folders, 3rd draw Toys.
  16. Girls can bring in tea sets, 2 coloring books, ponies, play dough
  17. Boys can bring in play dough, blocks, car set, 2 coloring books.
  18. 1 smock,1 pack of Crayola washable paint, and 8 large to small paint brushes and a pack of painting paper.
  19. 4 black and white marbled composition books labeled, Phonics, Spanish, Science, Learning Center
  20. 4 Packs of Multi- colored index cards with lines
  21. All toys must fit in their draw and taken home Friday to be washed.
  22. 2 bottles of Alcohol
  23. 1 small pillow ( must be placed inside the desk on on a hook)
  24. Cancelling noise head set for kids ( Purchased on Amazon)
  25. 4 Erasable markers
